MeiZou Chinese Level 6 (Traditional Characters) is the main textbook. It touches base on the required knowledge from various subjects about Chinese history and cultures. Students will learn to read and write 168 new words and some Chinese idioms. Students will practice speaking and writing in sentences and in the style of conversation. Pinyin is interchangeable with Zhuyin which students have learned through k – 5 grades.

六年級中文班以美洲華語繁體第六冊課本為主要敎材。課程內容涵蓋中華文化、歷史、傳統節慶的介紹。學生會學習到168個新字和一些成語，並通過會話的方式反覆練習詞語和造句。學生還會利用遊戲的方式反覆練習國字及造詞。六年級的學生可以將漢語拼音和注音符號做融會貫通和轉換為他們將來在高中及大學修中文課先行墊下基礎。
